Advance the use of test management and automation for SAP ECC and Fiori, since other web solutions already had an established flow for managing and executing manual and automated tests.
The main objective was to establish a robust test automation strategy for the SAP context, using Robot Framework + Azure DevOps + Xray, ensuring that the SAP testing flow was standardized and equivalent to the model already adopted for web testing, ensuring consistency, traceability, and continuous execution in CI/CD.
A Python library was developed that integrates Xray, Robot Framework, and Azure DevOps, automating test execution and updates in CI/CD. As a result, the process that was previously manual and time-consuming is now completed in minutes, significantly reducing effort while increasing efficiency and traceability.
