Second project with Edenred: replace the legacy solution for data exchange between database servers via Service Broker, proposing a new architecture as the standard solution and reviewing all SQL Servers to improve performance and availability.
Challenge
Replace the legacy solution for data exchange between servers via Service Broker, proposing a new architecture. Review all SQL Servers, proposing performance and availability improvements.
Solution
Analysis of the legacy data exchange environment via Service Broker and proposal of a new solution based on an existing tool not yet in use. After access was granted to all Production and Quality Assurance servers, tuning adjustments were proposed to the client.
Result
Use of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with a proposal for a new data exchange structure via queues. Integration between the new portal and the legacy system via SSIS for customer creation, payment orders, card creation and replacement. Tuning across all SQL Servers in the environment.
